Umm.... yes, little Joshua Radin frenzy going on here. But nonetheless, Streetlight!
I'll wait for something under a streetlight
It won't be long
Because it's dark it's cold
It's one of those nights
It's one of those nights where
There's something out there
Keeps me alive
But I don't know where to go
So I think I'll sit and stay here a while
Till I figure it out
So let the wind blow us
To wherever it says
We are supposed to go
When you want something but can't name it
It's under a streetlight
It's something you've never seen before
Open the door
It's something you've always been afraid of
It's under a streetlight
And now all you want is more
But don't know where to go

Let the wind blow us
To wherever it says
We are supposed to go
I don't mind the wait it's fine
As long as you know
It's the wait that could be the something
I don't know where to go
So I think I'll sit and stay here a while
Till I figure it out
So let the wind blow us
To wherever it says
We are supposed to go
So let the wind blow us

We are supposed to go

Song Review: Will's Lullaby
This song is simply amazing. It actually makes you feel happy. It was written during Hurricane Katrina in 2005. Joshua Radin was visiting his friend and his newborn son, Will. The next day the unexpected hurricane hit New Orleans. Everything in the house was destoryed and the baby Will was traumatised. So when they all were allowed to move back in, Will couldn't sleep. So Joshua Radin wrote this song for baby Will. And now he sleeps. So heart-warming. Thank you Joshua Radin!

Shins, Joshua Radin and Paramore
Those bands in the title are my favourite bands. Joshua Radin is a star. Literally. Well, no he's not... but he shoould be a star, he is awesome! So are The Shins. Simple Song. Be sure to get the album Port of Morrow on iTunes! Paramore are also releasing a new album this summer, so I shall review that.
Day One:
Today's song of the day is: Everything'll Be Alright (Will's Lullaby) by Joshua Radin
Way down, in New York town
Thinking about the way she loved me
There's a hole in my pocket
That's about her size
But I think everything
Is gonna be alright
Yes I hope everything
Is gonna be alright
The smiling face, straight in LA
The gifts are found at the bar
But I wish my car
Could drive to her tonight
Then I'd know everything
Is gonna be alright
Yes then I'd know
It'll be alright
The rain in New Orleans, forgot to end
But the mouths of the people are dry
And we watch and wait
And do nothing but sigh
And hope everything
Is gonna turn alright
But I don't know
If it'll be alright
But I look at you, warm in your dream
While your mobile dances above
And I think to myself
It's a beautiful night
And I know everything
Is gonna be alright
Yes now I know
It'll be alright
Way down, in New York town
Thinking about the way she loved me
There's a hole in my pocket
That's about her size
But I think everything
Is gonna be alright
Yes I hope everything
Is gonna be alright
The smiling face, straight in LA
The gifts are found at the bar
But I wish my car
Could drive to her tonight
Then I'd know everything
Is gonna be alright
Yes then I'd know
It'll be alright
The rain in New Orleans, forgot to end
But the mouths of the people are dry
And we watch and wait
And do nothing but sigh
And hope everything
Is gonna turn alright
But I don't know
If it'll be alright
But I look at you, warm in your dream
While your mobile dances above
And I think to myself
It's a beautiful night
And I know everything
Is gonna be alright
Yes now I know
It'll be alright
